Is Verizon Fios available in my apartment building?

Verizon Fios is a relatively new option for cable, internet and phone services in New York City, and has become increasingly popular with residents since its introduction into the market.  A small percentage of residential buildings offer access to Fios, but its availability has seen recent growth, especially in large high-rises with hundreds of tenants.

There are two simple ways to determine Verizon Fios availability in your new building:

• Visit the Verizon Fios website here and enter your new address
  • You can also contact Verizon directly to discuss availability and plans
• Contact the management company / landlord of the building to get information on available cable options

If Verizon Fios is not available in your new apartment building, Time Warner Cable and/or RCN are the two other primary cable providers in NYC.
