When should I schedule an appointment for the cable / internet / phone installation for my new apartment?

Once you determine your move-in date and select your cable provider, you are strongly advised to contact them IMMEDIATELY to schedule an appointment for installation.  Appointments can take up to several weeks to book, especially at convenient times / days without an extended time window, so make sure to take care of this promptly.  Many new tenants wait to do this until they’re about to move and end up living in their new home without cable, internet and phone for a lengthy period of time.
